About Archimeda

Education leadership and technology delivery in one senior team.

Ross Fox and Andrew Thomas founded Archimeda to help school-system leaders make sound decisions, put practical support into use and show what changes.

The founders

Two records of change. One responsibility for delivery.

Education

Ross Fox

Ross Fox

Ross served as Director of Catholic Education for the Archdiocese of Canberra and Goulburn, leading strategy, funding and instructional reform across 56 schools, 3,000 staff and 23,000 students. His earlier work includes national Catholic education leadership, policy work and management consulting.

Technology

Andrew Thomas

Andrew Thomas

Andrew founded Thomas Duryea, built it to 125 staff and A$68.5 million in FY2014 revenue, and led the company to acquisition by Logicalis. He later founded Atlastix and now leads operating design, engineering and delivery at Archimeda.

Together

Ross leads educational purpose and system context. Andrew leads operating design and delivery. They lead the first conversation and remain involved in major engagements.

The firm

One firm responsible for the work.

Clients engage Archimeda to clarify the outcome, implement practical support and assess the results. The firm combines education leadership, process redesign and working platforms. Each engagement defines the baseline, decision owners, controls and handover before any wider adoption is considered.

The name

Why Archimeda.

The name reflects a simple idea. Better observation leads to better understanding, and a small, well-placed intervention can move something much larger. Archimeda applies that idea to the daily work of education, making it visible for support and improvement.

The next step

Bring the outcome to the people who will deliver it.

Ross and Andrew lead the first conversation and remain involved through the work.
